Ngugi wa Thiong'o & Sesshu Foster
Ngugi wa Thiong'o is the author of many novels, plays, and essays, including Weep Not, Child, The River Between, A Grain of Wheat, and Matigari. His work has been translated into more than 30 languages, and he was elected as an Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
Sesshu Foster's recent novel Atomik Aztex is the winner of a Believer Magazine Book Award. He has been a professor of writing at the University of Iowa and the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has taught composition and literature in East LA for 20 years.
